Snow, lift, and the World Cup season opener!

Things are pretty quiet around Windham. Actually, they are extremely quiet! We have seemingly moved from foliage season directly to stick season around here with some windy evenings doing a number on any leaves that might have been hanging on for peepers. I can gladly report that we had our first snow! The ground is still too warm for anything to stick, but snow on top of the mountain was pretty exciting!

SNOW!

The lift progress is continuing to move along and they look to be focusing their efforts on the base terminal. The lift towers and their tops are nearly all assembled in the parking lot and are awaiting their placements. It has been fun to see them slowly grow this week! Here are some photos of recent progress:

While our season is not quite here, the World Cup season opener is less than a week away! Both the ladies and men kick off the World Cup season in Soelden, Austria. Both genders will be racing GS with the ladies competing on October 27th and the men take to the hill on October 28th.  Be sure to check out the action to see the best in the world battle for the early World Cup GS and overall lead!

Again, if you have not yet registered for the program, please do so ASAP!
